Christine Stephens
I have over 10 years of experience as a Graphic Designer and Creative daydreamer. I began my career as an Associate Designer at the award-winning magazine “Shift”, an industry-leading publication on contemporary digital culture. I went on to work at some of the most prestigious design companies and magazines in Canada including, Q30 Design, Amoeba Corp., Pylon Design Inc., Report on Business Magazine, Toronto Life, Pod10 Art+Design, and Oxygen. I was also the lead Graphic Designer at the Urban Design and Planning firm Urban Strategies for 5 years, and more recently Senior Designer at National Equicom. My clients over the past three years have included Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons and the Toronto Stock Exchange. I taught at George Brown College, and have won several awards including Silver for illustration at the Advertising and Design Club of Canada, Gold for illustration at the National Magazine Awards of Canada, and Silver at the iNova awards for web and app design. I have built deep expertise in branding, layout design and illustration, and I have a nerdy obsession for typography.
